Account Deletion
This page explains how users can request deletion of Elbaab accounts and related personal data, including the in-app deletion paths where available and the public support route for requests made outside the app.
1. Delete your account in the app
If you still have access to your Elbaab app or portal account, the fastest way to request deletion is usually through the account settings or account-management flow available inside the product.
- Elbaab User app: use the in-app account settings and follow the delete-account verification flow.
- Elbaab Supplier app: use Account Management and follow the delete-account action available in the profile or account-management area.
- If a role-specific app does not expose self-service deletion, use the outside-app request route below.
2. Request deletion outside the app
If you cannot sign in, cannot access your device, or need to make the request outside the app, email support@elbaab.ae.
- Use the subject line Elbaab Account Deletion Request.
- Include the app or role involved, such as User, Supplier, Courier, or Rider.
- Include the phone number, email address, or other account identifier associated with the account.
- Do not send unnecessary sensitive information unless Elbaab asks for it through an approved verification process.
3. What happens after a request
Elbaab may ask for reasonable verification before deleting an account or acting on a data-deletion request. Some data may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or security reasons even after an account is closed or deactivated.
- Where the law allows, some records may be retained or archived after the account is deleted.
- If additional steps are required before deletion can be completed, Elbaab support will explain those steps.
- For more detail about deletion, retention, and privacy requests, see the Privacy Policy.
